For weeks, it seemed that everywhere I looked, I was seeing something about Isaac Villegas’s new book, Migrant God. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it, and I was not disappointed once I did! With everything happening in the U.S. right now surrounding immigration, this text and conversation are right on time. Don’t get me wrong, the topic is always a relevant one, especially for Christians, but right now, we need sound, biblical wisdom from compassionate clergy and other faith leaders to lead the way. Isaac is one of those folks. Coming from an immigrant family and serving migrants in his context, he has come to understand much about the biblical examples and commands to love our neighbors and welcome foreigners. I am so incredibly grateful for his voice and can’t wait to share our talk with you!
