What do you want to be when you grow up? What do you do for a living? Where do you work? These questions are common from childhood to cocktail party, but how do they actually relate to our vocations? Our callings? Karen Swallow Prior wrote an exquisite book offering wisdom and clarification (not a step by step or how to text) surrounding these questions. She encourages readers to ask more questions about our calling and work, especially as it relates to our faith. For those of us who have struggled in this area (and who hasn’t?!), this is a conversation to keep at the top of the queue and a book to keep at the top of the stack!
