Rev. Dr. Jack Sara is the President of Bethlehem Bible College. I met Jack on what was my 8th (?) trip to the Holy Land, but only my first trip to Palestine. If you think about it (and we mention it a bit in the episode), that fact alone is pretty remarkable. That someone could travel to Israel over half a dozen times over almost two decades and never enter the Palestinian Territories. Because that was the case for me, I had no idea how the Palestinian people, a small but mighty number of them Christians, were living in their almost unrecognizable homeland. Jack, who is Palestinian and born in Jerusalem, tells much of his personal story in this episode and I can’t wait for you to hear it! This is a perspective many Western Christians haven’t considered, not because we don’t want to, but because we never knew it existed.
