For this episode, I had the chance to interview my professor, Dr. Matthew Kaemingk. Matt teaches classes on faith and public life, including the areas of politics and the workplace. A few years ago, Matt wrote an article on Christian political hospitality viewed through the lens of Holy Week. At the heart of the issue is how we, as believers, can and should live peaceably with people with which we have deep difference. His research in this area stems from his PhD work studying European immigration in Amsterdam and culminated in a book on the subject, Christian Hospitality and Muslim Immigration in an Age of Fear (2018).
