I’m already intrigued by anyone who has a skydiving story (that will *never* be me!), and Adriel Booker’s is (literally) one for the books! She opens her fabulous volume, Tethered to Hope with a story of jumping from a plane, secured to an instructor in her early twenties and the harrowing moments that followed. The remaining chapters are just as enthralling and so are the questions that still remain with me after I finished the book and this incredible conversation.
We chat about self-compassion, faith, God’s silence, and wrestling. If you’ve ever been unsure of how to keep hope alive when things around you seem bleak, you won’t want to miss this episode.
Mentioned in this episode:
