Jenn Suen Chen‘s story is so very different from mine and also holds many similarities. Her new book, Dim Sum and Faith, is one to slow down with, letting the words and ideas simmer like a wonderfully rich broth (one that can also bring some healing with its warmth). She shares about her experiences as an Asian American Christian woman, and while many of the particulars between her story and mine are obviously different, I found many places of connection and I have a feeling you will, too. If you’ve ever struggled with exploring those parts of yourself that can sometimes feel foreign (even though they’re also utterly familiar), this conversation is for you.
