David Swanson is back on the podcast! David is the pastor of New Community Covenant Church in Chicago, the author of Rediscipling the White Church, and regularly speaks and writes on matters of racial justice and reconciliation. The last time David and I recorded was in October of 2020 and as you know a lot has happened since then! While it’s good and helpful to talk about ideas that are more solidified, like those in his book, I asked David to come back and give us some real-time ecclesial and social commentary. What does he see happening in the evangelical church in the U.S. since we spoke and how can we, as members of the body, contribute in a kingdom-minded way? I can’t wait for you to hear this thoughtful and thought-provoking conversation!
