Tara Beth Leach is a pastor at Christ Church of Oak Brook in the Chicago area. She and her family recently moved back home following a time of her pastoring in Pasadena, CA at First Church of the Nazarene, a.k.a. PazNaz. As a pastor in white evangelical spaces, Tara Beth has been able to capture what no doubt many of us have felt in recent years – that something is wrong. Radiant Church holds a mirror up to the church community in America to challenge and encourage us to be our best selves in Jesus. In order for us to see ourselves for who we have been and usher us into who we are called by God to be, we need to be able to bear the truth in love, listen, lament, and repent. This book is truly a gift for the church today if we’re willing to receive it.
As a bonus, Radiant Church releases on February 16, 2021 and if you’re hearing this episode before then or reading these notes, you’re invited to an online event on that date (at 7pm CST) to launch this timely word! You can connect with Tara Beth at tarabethleach.com.
