Chandra Crane is the author of a book that was very personal read for me, Mixed Blessing: Embracing the Fullness of Your Multiethnic Identity, published by InterVarsity Press with an incredible foreword by Jemar Tisby. Chandra, who is on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, is ethnically mixed. She is white American and Thai and was raised in a bi-cultural home by her white American mother and her African American father who adopted her.

One of my favorite aspects of the book is how Chandra points out that Jesus was mixed! We read about his genealogy in the gospels, and even with as many times as I have studied the women and men who were included in his ancestry, somehow I’ve always managed to miss that amazing point. You don’t want to miss this conversation with Chandra!

Chandra absolutely loves to connect with readers – you can find all sorts of ways to do that on chandracrane.com and on social media @chandraLcrane
