Maybe because my life is currently in flux (and has been that way for a hot minute), I was honestly a bit hesitant to read my friend Michael O’Donnell‘s new book. I’m not exactly sure why I was nervous, but it did sit on my shelf for weeks (okay, maybe even months) before I finally picked it up, but I AM SO GRATEFUL I DID! Life in Flux is not some how-to book with lists of things to do that may or may not work. Dealing with change just doesn’t work that way. Instead, what you’ll find in the book and this conversation is an exploration of needed skills for the world in which we live. Whether or not you’re in a season of flux (like me!) it’s hard to deny the rate of change all around us. Michaela recognizes this environment for what it is and through research and thoughtful wisdom, helps guide us through it.
