This conversation with Dr. Erin Devers was so much fun! We discussed some of the concepts from her new book, The Unbiased Self, and I found it to be fascinating. As a psychology professor, Erin brings so much insight into the world of bias, how we all operate with it, and what we can do to change those instincts. Spoiler alert, Erin provides us with this little piece of wisdom to keep in mind when we think about why we all do things – When we make decisions, we do so because 1. We want to be right, and 2. We want to feel good about ourselves. Whoa! Join us while we look at how these two little phrases effect our behavior on a daily basis and what that means for us and our interactions with others.
