The subject matter of Scott Coley’s new book might be familiar to many of us, but the way in which he presents it was new for me! Scott is a philosopher and professor, so he comes at many of the questions (and problems) we see within the religious right, especially in the United States, from that perspective. I for one, am accustomed to thinking about these topics theologically, and while Scott does have theological opinions he expresses, the main points he focuses on are philosophical. The book was rich and I feel like we barely scratched the surface in this conversation, but I am confident it is enough give us all some food for thought.
