It’s not every day that so much wisdom and experience is found in one place, but today is that day! Beth Birmingham and Eeva Sallinen Simard have decades of combined experience in working in and with faith-based organizations. It is because of their commitment in these spaces that they are doing everything they can to make those very same organizations places where women and men can thrive while participating in this important work. In their years of work, they have noticed the unfortunate reality that faith-based organizations are typically less likely to be spaces where women and minorities are allowed the opportunities to use their gifts to their fullest and they are seeking to change that. These two women care deeply about the mission of God and the people tasked with expanding the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven and it shows both in this conversation and in their new book, Creating Cultures of Belonging.
