Don Shoendorfer is a biomedical engineer with a PhD from MIT and the founder of Free Wheelchair Mission. Part of what I *love* about Don’s story is that he utilized the skills God had already given him to help people with a profound problem – immobility caused by disability. As you’ll hear, Don didn’t set out to design an inexpensive wheelchair that could serve people in developing countries who otherwise wouldn’t have access to such a thing, but through a series of events and tuning into the voice of the Lord that’s exactly where he is now. Don’s book, Miracle Wheels, tells how his God-given creativity and bent toward innovation are helping provide for some of people’s deepest needs around the world.
