Sean Dietrich, better known as Sean of the South, is a popular blogger and storyteller. He hosts a podcast and is the author of his memoir and most recent book, Will the Circle Be Unbroken? A Memoir of Learning to Believe You’re Gonna Be Okay. If you know me in real life, you know there’s hardly anything I love more than a good memoir, and Sean’s book definitely fits the bill! It was one of those reads that left me sad when it ended. He is truly gifted in the waning art of storytelling and I want you to know there is healing power there. Sean’s story feels like it ends and begins with his father’s suicide when he was a boy. And while the premise is certainly heartbreaking, grief is not the only theme in this story; redemption shines through.
