I had a blast talking to Shannan Martin! Shannan is a speaker, writer, mom, and wife to Cory who works as a chaplain at the local jail. I finished her first book Falling Free: Rescued From the Life I Always Wanted literally only moments before our interview and I’m pretty sure I’m digesting parts of it even still. Her recent book The Ministry of Ordinary Places: Waking Up to God’s Goodness Around You is high on my to-read list. We talk quarantine life, adoption, Netflix, and what conversation is complete these days without a little Enneagram thrown in?! The Martin family story of following God into places they never thought they’d live is inspiring, challenging, and genuine. I can’t wait for you to listen!
