Episode 035 - Jeanne Bishop, Author of Grace from the Rubble
/

Jeanne Bishop is an attorney, advocate, and author. Her most recent book release, Grace from the Rubble, tells the story of Bill McVeigh, the father of Timothy McVeigh who was convicted of bombing the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995 and Bud Welch, who is the father of one of the 168 victims. The two connected as fathers of children, roughly the same age, who they would each lose too young. Jeanne captures the beauty of forgiveness, reconciliation, love, and life in this story that started with grief and death.

This podcast releases the day after the 25th anniversary of the attack.

But this journey is also personal for Jeanne. As she writes in her first book, Change of Heart, forgiveness was something she fought for following the brutal murder of her sister, brother-in-law, and their unborn child.
