David Fitch is a professor at Northern Seminary and the author of several books, the latest of which is on a topic I dare say most Christians have pondered, especially in the last few years…power. In Reckoning with Power David presents a brief history of how we have come to view power, especially in the Christian community, and asks how we might better understand and wield it. As I mention up front in the episode, I don’t agree with everything David writes in this book, but I am incredibly grateful for conversation partners in what I believe is one of the most important topics we can process in our Christian communities. David has helped me consider perspectives I hadn’t before and that will continue to serve me well as I reckon with power. I hope you’ll tune in and even send me your thoughts on this discussion!
